Can I take my laundry to your store?

We don't have a physical store to receive laundry.
We ONLY pick up and deliver your laundry to the address you include when ordering...
and only in the areas we cover.

What detergents do you use?

When placing an order, you have 2 detergent options:
* Premium detergent (scented)
* High Quality Plant-based Hypoallergenic (low scent / for sensitive skin.)
Whether you choose premium or hypoallergenic, we will use a top-rated highest quality brand detergent.

Do you separate light & dark items?

Of course! You just tap or click to order. Everything else is taken care of for you. We will separate your light and dark items and organize your tangled clothes piles into neatly folded stacks of laundry. You just place it inside your closet and get dressed.

Do I need laundry bags?

On your first order, please put your laundry ready for pickup in a disposable bag:
- A 13 gallon kitchen trash bag, the white ones, to replace our 30 lbs bag.
- A 20 to 25 gallon large trash bag, the black ones, to replace our 50 lbs bag.
Fill them up. And Don't forget to use Code: “Order1” At Checkout To Get $5 Off On Your First Order.
Your laundry will be delivered back to you in our purple laundry bags, which you can keep for the next order. If you need more than one bag, like one medium and one large, or two medium bags, we may provide them for you.

If for any circumstances and due to high demand, we dont have our purple medium or large bags available, we will deliver your folded laundry inside clear plastic bags, until have them in stock again.

Can I leave my laundry bag out?

When you place your order, at checkout you will be asked to choose to put your laundry out for pickup or to hand it out to our driver personally. Many of our customers find it incredibly easy and convenient to place their laundry bag by the front door or at a designated pickup spot and let us take care of the rest. => However, if you don't want to leave your laundry bag out (or don't find it safe) after placing your order, you can choose the option to hand them out personally. Our driver will let you know when arriving at your home.

At checkout, choose one of the options below on how to hand out your bag(s):
1) We'll be home, let me know when you arrive or knock.
2) I'll leave it out, by our front door.
3) I'll leave it out nearby at designated place (specify below).
When chosing the last option, specify your "pickup spot" in the space below.

Please note: You will be billed a surcharge fee of $15 if our SOS Laundry driver arrives for pickup and is not able to secure your laundry.

How does the weight of laundry bags work?

We offer two bag sizes: Medium - up to 30 lbs of weight, and Large - up to 50 lbs of weight. A big clothes hamper may weight around 10 to 15 lbs. EVERYTHING you can put inside our medium or large bags is a flat fee! The total weight will depend of what types of garments and items you put inside the bag... It's not the same a bag filled with jeans, towels and long dresses than a bag filled with t-shirts and light clothes. So, just fill it up with all your stuff, and we'll do the rest.

How does your free pickup and delivery work?

Our service includes free pickup and delivery (6 days a week, Sundays we take some rest). Just tell us where and we come to you. If you order on Saturdays before 12:00 noon, you can have your clothes the same day (just choose Same-Day delivery at checkout). If you place your order on Saturday before 4 pm, we'll pick it up by 6 pm, and you'll have your clean clothes back on Monday before 12:00 pm (or any time slot you choose). Just let us know at checkout if you want pickup and delivery on the AM or PM slot. And, If you want your order back in another later date, just let us know on the are "Any Specifics About Your Order?" at checkout.

What is your time of Pickup and Delivery?

If you place your order before 4 pm, your laundry will be picked up by 8pm that day, and delivered complete by 8 pm the following day. If you place your order after 4pm, your laundry will be picked up next morning before 10 am the following day, and delivered complete by 10 am the day after that.
Same-Day delivery service orders must be placed before 12 noon. Pickup usually occurs by 2:00 pm, and delivery by 8:00 pm. Same-day service has weight limit of 100 pounds (or two of our Large laundry bags).

Is there an minimum order amount?

The minimum amount for each order is $29.99. If you happen to have services in your shopping cart below $29.99, you have three options to make it work for you:
1) You can upgrade your delivery to SAME-DAY Delivery at checkout, which has an addtional fee of $17.99 PER LAUNDRY BAG, but the convenience of having your clothes fresh clean and folded, back to you on the same day. Same-Day Delivery applies only if you order BEFORE 12 Noon.
2) You can use our Flexible Custom Amount, and add the custom balance needed to get to $29.99, this is a good option if you're short just a couple of dollars. You can find this option at our store and add it to your cart.
3) You can order other service(s) until you reach the $29.99 minimum required. See what other laundry or ironing service you'd need and we'll be glad to return your garments or items in 24 to 36 hours.

Wash & Dry Temperatures

We wash clothes in cold water, as recommended by laundry experts <= click to see why (i.e.: clothes last more, less color bleed and fading, new detergents don't need hot water, etc.). However, if you want us to wash in hot water just ask for it on “Specifics about your order?" when checking out and we’ll do it for you.
We dry on medium heat, never on high heat.

How do you handle the ironing items?

When you order ironing services, put your garments inside a plastic bag to separate them from the other items in the laundry bag that are only to be washed, include a small note inside that says "Iron". You can also let us what items we will iron on "Any specifics about your order?" area during checkout, i.e.: "White Express Size M Shirt"

Do you use fabric softener?

SOS Laundry does not typically stock or utilize fabric softener as it has the potential to harm fabrics and reduce the lifespan of clothing. Nonetheless, if you desire fabric softener, you may request it by specifying it so under "Specifics about your order?" during checkout. There is no additional charge for this service.

What about stained items?

At SOS Laundry, we understand the frustration that comes with stained clothes. While our regular process focuses on providing exceptional laundry services, certain stains require specialized treatment and just won't come out even with high quaility washing processes.
We offer an optional add-on service: a special stain removal treatment. This treatment utilizes targeted techniques and specialized products to tackle tough stains. However, please note that we cannot guarantee complete stain removal or provide warranties. What items are not allowed to wash?

We do not accept laundry that is unsafe or unsanitary. Additionally, laundry containing an excessive amount of pet hair will not be serviced. Prior to placing an order, you will be need to be sure that your laundry meets the following conditions:
- It is safe and does not contain bed bugs, fleas, roaches, any type of drugs or any biohazardous materials.
- It is sanitary and does not contain excessive amounts of feces, urine, blood, or vomit, beyond what is typically found in household laundry.
- It does not include an excessive quantity of pet hair.

Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in a $20 fee, the laundry being returned "as is", and may lead to the closure of your account.
